Toledo is playing in its first Mid-American Conference championship game since 2017, and Ohio is in the MAC title game for the first time since 2016.
The Rockets are 3-3, while the Bobcats are 0-4. This will be the first time the two long-time MAC members have faced each other in the championship game.
There’s a 12-game sample size for both teams, but it’s still difficult to predict what will transpire Saturday. Both teams have injured starting quarterbacks, Toledo is limping in off two uninspiring performances, and the MAC is wholly incalculable.
Chances are the game will be one of the best of championship Saturday.
