TOLEDO, Ohio - Sophomore center Luke Knapke has been named to the 2017-18 Academic All-Mid-American Conference Team, the league office announced on Wednesday. A total of 13 student-athletes were selected to the team from this past season. Knapke helped Toledo to the 2017-18 MAC West Division title with a 13-5 league record and a 23-11 overall win-loss mark.
A management major with a 3.547 GPA, Knapke is being honored for a second straight year after averaging 10.8 points per game and ranking second on the team with 6.3 rebounds per game. The Maria Stein, Ohio native ranked fourth in the MAC with a team-high 1.
