CLEVELAND, Ohio – University of Toledo senior center Luke Knapke was named Male Scholar Athlete of the Week by the Mid-American Conference for the second consecutive week after his performance for the Rockets last week.
Knapke averaged 19.0 ppg, 7.0 rpg and 3.0 apg to go along with a 52.5 FG% and 54.5 three-point FG% in two games for the Rockets last week. The Maria Stein, Ohio native tallied 15 points, seven rebounds, and four assists against MAC West leader Northern Illinois before scoring 23 points and grabbing a team-high seven boards at MAC East leader Bowling Green.
