Toledo, Ohio - Senior Luka Vitosevic was named the Mid-American Conference Men's Tennis Singles Player of the Week, the conference announced today. This is Vitosevic's third time earning Player of the Week this season after being recognized on Jan. 16 and March 27.
"Luka has been killing it this spring," said head coach Al Wermer. "He's battled, bounced back, and grown in many ways."
The Belgrade, Serbia native went 2-0 at the No. 1 singles position over the weekend, posting wins against Western Michigan and Northern Illinois. On Friday, Vitosevic came out victorious from a three-set comeback against Western Michigan's Jannik Opitz.
