CLEVELAND, OH - Senior Sophie Reecher, junior Jay-Ann Bravo-Harriott, junior Michaela Rasmussen, sophomore Mikaela Boyd, sophomore Halee Printz and sophomore Sarah St-Fort have been named to the 2016-17 Academic All-Mid-American Conference Team, the league office announced on Thursday. A total of 52 student-athletes were selected to the team from this past season.
The 2016-17 MAC Champions finished tied for first in the conference for the most academic recipients with arch-rival Bowling Green, Miami and Northern Illinois.
Reecher, Bravo-Harriott and Rasmussen become the 10th, 11th and 12th players in UT annals to be selected to the academic squad on more than one occasion, while Boyd, Printz and St-Fort are first-time recipients.
