Cleveland, Ohio – Two University of Toledo student-athletes were honored by the Mid-American Conference with Medal of Excellence awards, the league office announced on Wednesday.
Women's golfer Pinyada Kuvanun and football player Reggie Gilliam were selected for their outstanding academic and athletic achievements.
Kuvanun graduated in May with a 3.621 grade-point average in international business. A Dean's List member for six straight semesters, Kuvanun set the Rockets' school career record for lowest stroke average (73.7) and also holds Toledo's top two single-season stroke averages - 72.8 in 2017-18 and 73.2 in 2018-19.
