Toledo men’s basketball coach Tod Kowalczyk has been named a finalist for the Skip Prosser Man of the Year award.
The award, named for the late Skip Prosser, is presented annually to those who not only achieve success on the court but who display high moral integrity off of it. Prosser died suddenly of a heart attack in 2007 while he was head coach at Wake Forest.
Kowalczyk has guided the Rockets to a regular-season Mid-American Conference championship and the No. 1 seed in the MAC tournament. They play eighth-seeded Ball State in the quarterfinals at 11 a.
