Toledo senior center Luke Knapke scored 33 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as the Rockets topped Marshall 82-72 on Sunday afternoon at Savage Arena.
Knapke was 12-of-16 from the field, including 4-of-6 from the 3-point line as he scored the most points by a Rockets player since Tyrone Kent scored 37 points at Xavier in 2008.
Junior guard Marreon Jackson added four 3-pointers of his own on the way to 24 points. Senior forward Willie Jackson notched a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds.
Jarrod West paced Marshall with 19 points, Mikel Beyers added 13 points, and Jannson Williams and Taevion Kinsey scored 12 points each.
