AKRON, Ohio - The University of Toledo women's swimming and diving team traveled to Akron, Ohio to take on the Zips on Friday, where Akron took home the victory, 200-102. Redshirt freshman Kennedy Lovell led the way for the Rockets taking home three first-place finishes.
"We had many standout performances tonight from our swimmers and divers," said head coach Brie Globig. "We competed against a lot of talent, which pushed us to be our best. We have started our season strong and will look to continue to build on it."
Lovell took first in the 100 and 200 freestyle and the 200 IM.
