LEXINGTON, Ky. – Juniors Pimchanok Kawil and Pinyada Kuvanun both notched Top Five finishes at Kentucky's Bettie Lou Evans Invitational on Saturday to lead Toledo to a sixth-place showing in the team standings. The tournament was held at the University of Kentucky's Big Blue Course and the field also included Notre Dame and four Big Ten programs.
Kawil led the way for UT by finishing alone in third place with a career-low two-under par 214 (69-76-69), while Kuvanun tied for fourth with a career-best even-par 216 (76-72-68). Kuvanun birdied her final three holes en route to her collegiate-best four-under par 68 and was one stroke shy of the school record.
