Jovana Duric Leads Rockets at CSCAA Open Water Championships

MIAMI, Fla. – Senior Jovana Duric led a group of four Rockets with a time of 1:03:11 in the 5K race of the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA ) Open Water Championships on Sunday morning in Biscayne Bay. The Toledo women's swimming and diving team, the only Mid-American Conference representative, finished 15th overall in a group of 21 teams.

Duric paced the Rockets to a 60-place finish with a time of 1:03:11.7. Nineteen seconds later, senior Kennedy Lovell crossed the finish line with a time of 1:03:30.7 in 62nd place. Sophomores Molly Pressler and Lindsey Creek were not far behind, finishing 74th and 77th respectively separated by another 19-second gap.
