TOLEDO, Ohio - Senior guard Jaelan Sanford has been named to the 2018-19 Lou Henson Award Mid-Season Watch list.
Sanford's inclusion on the Henson Mid-Season Watch list marks the second straight year a Rocket has been on the list after Tre'Shaun Fletcher was last season. Sanford leads the Rockets with 16.4 ppg (T-6th in MAC), an 87.8 FT% (2nd in MAC) and 31.1 mpg. He also ranks second on the team with 26 three-point field goals and 36 free throws and is tied for second with 3.0 apg.
The 2019 Lou Henson Award will be presented at the College Insider awards event in April at the site of the NCAA Division I Men's Championship in Minneapolis, Minn.
