Former University of Toledo coach Matt Campbell secured a commitment from another former Rockets pledge, this time the highest-rated player in UT's next class.
With National Signing Day 16 days away, wide receiver Jalen Martin, a 6-foot-2 wide receiver from Chandler Park (Mich.) Academy, announced on Twitter that he switched his commitment from Toledo to Iowa State.
Nineteen players had nonbinding verbal agreements with Toledo before Campbell took the Iowa State job on Nov. 28; six decommitted and three have since followed Campbell to Ames, Iowa.
