TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo junior centerfielder Garret Pike was named Mid-American Conference Player of the Week on Monday following his red-hot performance last week.
A Waterville, Ohio native, Pike enjoyed a monster week at the plate with a .529 batting average, six home runs, and 10 RBIs in four games. The junior outfielder also scored nine runs and drew three walks while registering an eye-popping 1.588 slugging percentage to help Toledo post a 3-1 record and win its Mid-American Conference series vs. Northern Illinois.
