u25a0 What happened: It didn’t take long for Toledo to turn a 7-0 deficit into a 14-7 advantage.
The game started with a surprise onside kick by Toledo, which was unsuccessful. Western Michigan then proceeded to methodically move the ball downfield, averaging more than four yards per play on a 53-yard touchdown drive.
UT was in the process of an easy answer until Dequan Finn -— who had just completed a beautiful process to Junior Vandeross — threw an interception right in the hands of Western safety Tate Hallock.
