SPOKANE — Two games, two disastrous starts for Toledo.
This time the Rockets couldn’t dig out of an early hole.
Four days after coming back from a 21-point second-half deficit at James Madison, the Toledo women’s basketball team never led against Gonzaga, falling behind 11-0 and eventually losing 91-70.
The Rockets started the game 0-of-6 shooting with three turnovers.
Gonzaga led by double digits for more than 36 minutes. The closest UT got after trailing 11-0 was 10.
The Rockets shot a dismal 40 percent from the field and made just 4 of 15 3-point attempts.
