DEKALB, Ill. — Toledo is making the trip to its personal house of horrors this weekend — Huskie Stadium — in an attempt to take a stranglehold on the Mid-American Conference West standings.
The Rockets already have a win over Central Michigan in its back pocket. A victory over Northern Illinois would give UT a 2-0 conference record with wins over the teams everybody thought would be their chief competition.
But getting to 2-0 won't be easy, no matter how many Northern Illinois starters are missing. The Huskies are still the defending MAC champions, and they've spoiled plenty of UT seasons in recent years to know the formula.
