University of Toledo freshman Ariel Cummings has been dismissed from the women’s basketball team, UT announced today.
Cummings, a 6-foot-3 forward, played at Notre Dame Academy. She was a member of the All-Blade team as a senior and was first-team All-Ohio after averaging 10.8 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 2.3 blocked shots per game.
“Ariel has broken team rules and been officially released from our team,” Toledo coach Tricia Cullop said. “I wish her nothing but the best in the future.”
