Another local high school basketball talent is staying home for college.
Destiny Robinson, a 5-foot-7 guard from Fremont Ross, committed to the University of Toledo on Sunday, joining fellow All-Blade honoree Kendall Braden of Toledo Christian as member of UT’s 2024 recruiting class.
Robinson made the announcement via X, formerly known as Twitter, by thanking her family and coaches and declaring that “419 is always home, GO ROCKETS!” She added an appreciation of the Toledo coaching staff for “believing in me and giving me this opportunity.”
