Former UT outfielder Adolph adjusting to pro ball in Mets' farm system

For former University of Toledo star outfielder Ross Adolph, the past few weeks have been quite the whirlwind.

Fresh off finishing his junior season at Toledo in which he tied the school-record with 15 home runs, he was selected in the 12th round of the MLB Draft by the New York Mets and now finds himself penciled in as the starting centerfielder for the Brooklyn Cyclones, a short-season Single-A team in the New York-Penn League.

“It’s definitely been exciting,” Adolph said. “I was able to spend some time with my family and friends during the whole process.
