Last season, Colorado transfer Tre’Shaun Fletcher operated in the background for the University of Toledo men’s basketball team.
He put in his work in the weight room and in practice, and he got a better grasp on the plays and on what the coaching staff expects. But he had to sit out games because of transfer rules.
This season, Fletcher suddenly finds himself front-and-center as the only senior on the team. The quiet guy off the court now is hoping his voice will be heard as he takes on a leadership role with this season’s Rockets.
