RIVERSIDE, Calif. - Senior Isa Echeverri scored her 15th-career goal and her first of the season but it was not enough as the Toledo women's soccer team fell, 2-1, to UC Riverside on Friday night at the URC Soccer Stadium.
The Rockets (1-2-1) lone goal came in the 66th minute when sophomore Kelsey Kraft found Echeverri who beat the goalkeeper from 20 yards out. Echeverri led the Rockets with four shots, while senior Chiara Paradiso took two shots as the only other player to fire multiple attempts.
Redshirt freshman Madison Perrin played her fourth-consecutive match of 90 minutes or more and recorded five saves in goal for the Rockets.
