TOLEDO, Ohio – University of Toledo President Sharon L. Gaber has named Dr. Dana Hollie to serve in the position of Faculty Athletics Representative, it was announced today.
The Faculty Athletics Representative serves as an essential liaison between the University's president, its athletic department, the Mid-American Conference and the NCAA. Hollie replaces Dr. Mary Powers, who concluded her term as Faculty Athletics Representative after serving in that role for the past five years.
"Dr. Hollie's academic background, integrity and knowledge of the University make her an ideal choice to serve as our Faculty Athletics Representative.
