TOLEDO, Ohio – University of Toledo senior third baseman Dayna Denner (Brooklyn Heights, Ohio) has been named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America Softball Second Team. She is the program's first Academic All-American since Christin Chadwick earned second-team honors in 1992.
Denner graduated in May 2020. She is currently pursuing her master's degree in business administration and holds a 3.81 graduate GPA.
Denner earned Mid-American Conference Player of the Year and First Team All-MAC selection this past season and became the first Rocket to be selected to the NFCA All-Great Lakes Region First Team since 1995 following her impressive campaign.
