TOLEDO, Ohio – The Rocket men's and women's cross country teams will be traveling down to Bowling Green, Ohio on Saturday, Nov. 7 to compete at the Falcon Invitational. The women's 6K will start at 2:00 p.m. with the men's 8K starting at 3:00 p.m.
The Rockets opened the season last Saturday at the Jeff Drenth Memorial in Mount Pleasant, Mich. Tthe women placed first in a tri-meet with CMU and WMU, while the men were narrowly defeated by CMU, 27-30.
Junior Semra Karaslan set the pace for the women at last week's meet, crossing the finish line first with a time of 17:25.
