As the University of Toledo football team prepares for a road contest at Ball State on Saturday, Rockets coach Jason Candle sees a Cardinals team that is gaining self-belief after a 2-0 start in the Mid-American Conference.
“I see a confident team,” Candle said. “I see a team that is believing in their coach and believing in their program and in each other. It's going to be a tough test for us.”
Ball State is 3-3 overall, but is coming off road wins over Northern Illinois and Eastern Michigan. Cardinals coach Mike Neu said his team is brimming with confidence, because it is committed to the process during the week leading up to the games.
