BUFFALO — A cold-shooting night doomed Toledo’s upset bid at Buffalo.
The Rockets — 29.2 percent from the field and 28.1 percent from 3-point range — fell 74-65 to the Bulls.
"We've got to shoot the ball better, and we've got to rebound better," UT women’s basketball coach Tricia Cullop said. "Our fight was always there. We fought tooth-and-nail, despite falling behind early. We fought hard to make it a game, but we have to make shots if we want to win close contests."
UT (8-5, 4-5 MAC) trailed by as many as 15 in the second half but pulled within three with 4:16 left in the fourth quarter.
