Toledo, Ohio – Toledo senior wide receiver Cody Thompson (Huron, Ohio) has been named Google Cloud Academic All-District by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). It is the second consecutive year that Thompson has earned all-district honors.
Thompson will now be on the ballot for Academic All-America, which will be announced on Dec. 10. If selected, he would be Toledo's first Academic All-American since Dan Molls in 2012.
Thompson, who earned Academic All-MAC honors in 2016, graduated last December with a 3.66 GPA in marketing. He is currently pursuing his master's degree in recreation & leisure with a 3.
