TUCSON — Forgive Dan Katz for sounding like a homer during Saturday’s Barstool Sports Arizona Bowl.
He warned everyone.
“Toledo! Let’s go!” Katz posted on X after the matchup between the Rockets and Wyoming was announced.
“Full disclosure for the Toledo/Wyoming Bowl game I’ll be calling,” wrote Katz, who’s known by his moniker Big Cat. “I have a key to the City of Toledo.”
Perhaps no university or city is more closely linked with Barstool than the University of Toledo and the Glass City. The relationship started during the pandemic when Katz, a Barstool personality, won the national championship with Toledo on NCAA Football 14 as the fictitious coach Gus Duggerton.
