University of Toledo football coach Jason Candle officially announced three new assistant coaching hires for the Rockets via Twitter on Thursday night.
Former Mount Union head coach Vince Kehres will be the new defensive coordinator and linebackers coach.
Ex Toledo player and coach Craig Kuligowski will be co-defensive coordinator and outside linebackers coach. He was most recently an assistant coach at Miami (Fla.) and Alabama.
Former Tampa Plant High School coach Robert Weiner will be passing game coordinator and quarterbacks coach.
