As an NFL coach, he famously set his alarm for 3:17 a.m.
Now 61 and out of the league, he’s let that mop of blonde hair down a little — he sleeps in until 4:30 and watches only about 40 hours of film per week — but he remains close to the game. Gruden runs the wryly named Fired Football Coaches Association (FFCA), a football think tank.
“I don’t have much of a life other than the FFCA,” he said. “I love football, man!
