NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. — Junior guard Mikaela Boyd led three University of Toledo players in double figures Monday to help the Rockets to their third consecutive win, 74-57 against Iona.
Boyd scored 14 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for her 11th career double-double. Junior Kaayla McIntyre and senior Jada Woody added 10 points each for Toledo (4-1).
As a team, the Rockets hit on a season-high 54.2 percent (26-of-48) from the field, including 54.5 percent (6-of-11) from 3-point range, and 76.2 percent (16-of-21) from the free-throw line.
Treyanna Clay led Iona with a game-high 15 points and 10 rebounds, while Alexis Lewis, Amelia Motz, and Tilasha Okey-Williams each added 10 points.
