It was a bittersweet ending for the Toledo women’s basketball team.
The Rockets, predicted to finish eighth in the Mid-American Conference preseason poll, went 19-1 in league play to set a record for conference wins. They finished with 29 overall wins, tying a school record.
Toledo’s pursuit of a WNIT title came to an end Monday, but the Rockets aren’t dwelling on the loss.
