ESTERO, Fla. — The University of Toledo men's basketball team used a decisive 13-0 second-half run to pull away from Louisiana in a 77-64 win on Tuesday night in the second round of the Gulf Coast Showcase.
During that run, the Rockets got two 3-pointers from Nate Navigato, a 3-pointer from Chris Darrington, a dunk from Jaelan Sanford, and layup from Marreon Jackson.
Sanford and Navigato led Toledo (4-1) with 17 points each. Willie Jackson recorded a double-double with 13 points and 16 rebounds, and Marreon Jackson added 11 points.
Navigato made five 3-pointers as the Rockets were 10-of-22 from the 3-point line.
