PARADISE ISLAND, Bahamas — Jason Candle is getting used to experiencing signing day in odd locales.
In February, he was at Toledo Hospital following the birth of his son, Colton. Candle spent Wednesday, the climax of the early signing period, inside a ballroom at the Atlantis resort and on a practice field at Thomas Robinson Stadium in the Bahamas.
“The logistics of everything become hectic because it’s a practice day,” Candle said at 6:39 a.m. Wednesday. “Being here compared to being in the States has a couple small challenges, but with today’s technology, how this is all done has leveled the playing field.
