RICHMOND, Va. – Senior Barend Botha fired a pair of under-par rounds to lead the Toledo men's golf team on Monday at the VCU Shootout. The Rockets are tied for ninth place in the team standings at six-under par 570 on the par-72, 6,927-yard CCV Tuckahoe Creek Course.
Botha is tied for ninth place individually at six-under par 138 after registering a team-high eight birdies and an eagle. He carded a four-under par 68 in his morning round and followed it with a two-under par 70 in the afternoon.
Senior NJ Botha is tied for 31st place at two-under par 142 (72-70) after finishing his day with three birdies in his final five holes.
