TOLEDO, Ohio – University of Toledo senior punter Bailey Flint was named a semifinalist for the Campbell Trophy by the National Football Foundation today. The award has recognized the best football scholar-athlete in the nation every year since 1990.
Flint has been Toledo's regular punter since 2017 and is on the watch list for the 2021 Ray Guy Award as the nation's top punter. He is averaging 42.8 yards per punt through four games this season. His best season came in 2019 when he was averaging 47.3 yards per punt until his season was cut short due to injury.
