South Bend, Ind. - The Toledo men's tennis team completed its ITA Midwest Regional run on Saturday.
Senior Vince Anzalone, who had made his way through the qualifiers into the main draw Saturday, fell early to Cleveland State's Matthew Terry in three hard-fought sets (2-6, 6-3, 6-3).
"Regionals has been a great learning curve for the guys," said grad assistant coach Josh Page. "In many matches they put themselves in good positions, but at times failed to capitalize from them. I think it has shown them how they can compete with some strong teams and with a bit more improvement they will be able to get across the finish line.
