UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Senior Amelia Lee captured her first tournament title as a Rocket to lead the Toledo women's golf team to a sixth-place finish on Sunday at Penn State's Nittany Lion Invitational. Lee shot a seven-under 209 (68-71-70) on PSU's par-72, 6,402-yard Blue Course to finish with the second-best 54-hole score in program history.
"I was thinking, finally!" Lee said. "I've been close to winning before and this time I was able to pull it off. I'm proud of myself and am thankful for everyone who has supported me and believed in me.
