Kokomo, IN – LHP Alex Wagner was named a Prospect League all-star for his performance with the Butler Blue Sox, the Prospect League announced on Thursday. The all-star event will take place in Kokomo, IN at the Kokomo Jackrabbits stadium on July 13 at 7:05 p.m.
Wagner has appeared in six games for the Blue Sox, starting four. The Brighton, MI native has a 2-1 record with a 1.30 ERA over 27.2 innings pitched. Wagner has struck out 18 batters and has not allowed more than one earned run during an outing.
The southpaw will play for the East Division in the all-star game.
