TOLEDO, Ohio – Sophomore Cassie Alcala and junior Sloane Teske will represent the Toledo women's tennis program at the ITA Midwest Super Regionals. The tournament will be held on Friday-Monday, Oct. 22-25 in Ohio State's Ty Tucker Tennis Center in Columbus, Ohio.
The Super Regionals will include 32-player singles and 16-team doubles draws, where Toledo's tandem will participate in the doubles portion. The singles champions, singles runners-up and doubles champion will advance to the ITA National Fall Championships set for Nov. 4-7.
"This is a great opportunity for Sloane [Teske] and Cassie [Alcala] to compete with the best in the Midwest," head coach Tracy Mauntler said.
