For University of Toledo junior forward Tanaya Beacham there is no time like the present.
After biding her time during a medical redshirt season and waiting patiently for her chance behind upperclassmen the past two seasons, opportunity knocks for Beacham, the Rogers High School alum, to show what she can do on the court for the Rockets.
“I've been waiting for it for so long, but I feel like it is finally my time and I'm going to take advantage of it,” Beacham said.
So far the results have been there for Beacham, who was named a team captain this season.
