With Mid-American Conference football media day coming up on Wednesday, here is a look at my predictions for the MAC West.
1) Toledo: On paper, Toledo is the most talented team in the conference and the Rockets are the pick to win their first MAC title since 2004.
2) Western Michigan: How the Broncos adapt after losing coach P.J. Fleck is an unknown, as is their quarterback situation. But the talent is there to compete for the West title.
3) Northern Illinois: The Huskies had a down year last season, but they are one of the most consistent programs in the conference and should be much improved this year.
