With the University of Toledo football team picked to finish second in the Mid-American Conference West division by both coaches and the media, the Rockets are primed for another solid season. But what has to go right for this season to be a success for Toledo:
1) Starting QB has to lead the offense efficiently: Whether it ends up being Mitch Guadagni or Eli Peters, the UT quarterback must be able to orchestrate the talented Rockets offense. Toledo’s offense should soar with above average quarterback play.
2) Defense must create a better pass rush: Toledo was seventh in the conference last season with 22 sacks in its 14 games.
