The University of Toledo football team will play Western Michigan on Friday at the Glass Bowl with a MAC championship berth on the line. The Broncos have had Toledo’s number the past two years. Here are three WMU players to watch on Friday:
1. Darius Phillips, DB, Kick returner: Phillips is the reigning special teams player of the year in the MAC, and he recently became just the fifth player in FBS history with five interceptions returned for touchdowns. He has scored four touchdowns this season including two kickoff return TDs, an interception return TD, and a fumble returned for a score.
