3 thoughts from UT's win over Central Michigan

The University of Toledo football team earned its seventh win of the season with a runaway 51-13 win over Central Michigan on Friday at the Glass Bowl. Here are three things that stood out about the game:

1) Toledo’s defense smothers CMU: Central Michigan struggled to get any offense going and by halftime had just three first downs. For the game, the Rockets limited the Chippewas running game to just 48 yards on 32 carries. Toledo also got pressure on the quarterback with six sacks in the game. It was one of the better performances of the season for the UT defense.
