The University of Toledo football team hung with Kentucky for a half, but ultimately lost 38-24 last Saturday. The Rockets had a bye week in Week 2 of the season before they host Murray State in the home opener next Saturday.
Here are three questions facing Toledo following the bye week:
1. Will quarterback Mitch Guadagni be ready for Murray State?
Guadagni was in concussion protocol during the bye week, and his status is uncertain for the home opener. He will benefit from the team having a bye week for him to recover. Last season, when Guadagni suffered a concussion against Fresno State, he missed the next game against Bowling Green but was able to come back the following week.
