The University of Toledo on Wednesday was picked to finish in first place in the Mid-American Conference West Division in the preseason coaches poll.
There are plenty of expectations for the Rockets, who boast 18 returning starters and five returning all-conference players.

1. How will the defense look?
Last year, the Rockets were last in the MAC in total defense and 10th in scoring defense. How the defense will rebound with seven returners and two new coordinators, Vince Kehres and Craig Kuligowski, will be a major question coming into the 2020 season.
