University of Toledo center Austin Parks scored more more points than Central State did as a team in the first half of Monday night’s 102-58 Rockets victory at Savage Arena.
The junior put in 22 points before the break, going on to hit 10 of 12 from the field for a career-high 27 points to go along with three blocks.
“He's got great patience in the post, he's got really good footwork, good hands, and he continues to gain confidence,” Toledo coach Tod Kowalczyk said. “He hadn't played much in the last couple years, so he just needed time to get confident.
