The University of Toledo travels to the Evergreen State with one thing on its mind: win a road game.
While the game won’t enhance or blemish the Rockets’ conference record, a good performance against a team that nearly upset two ranked opponents would create major momentum going into the home stretch of their schedule.
“We have not played great football on the road and we’ve got to find a way to do that,” Toledo head coach Jason Candle said. “If we’re going to get to where we want to go on the next part of the schedule that pertains to elite games, let’s go to this one right first, so in conference, out of conference, it doesn’t matter to us.
